You guys know I'm a big fan of using video for local marketing. I don't have time to list all the reasons why but you can read about some of it at the link at the bottom of this post.
But since I love video I try to stay up on cool video tools and discovered a great one via Ann Smarty over at Hubspot.
The one I'm quoting would be GREAT for quick easy local SMB videos.
(See my hot ideas section below.)

Animated Flows
If you're looking for a simple way to instruct someone on how to do something online, the following tool is super handy.
1) WhatFix - Price: Freemium
This tool is actually the one that has inspired the whole article. WhatFix lets you create quick flows showing steps users should take. You can embed the widget on your web page or send your users to the "live" version of the link that will play all the steps on your actual web page.
It also creates YouTube videos on the fly, which is a great re-packaging option.
Above just a snippet, Ann wrote more PLUS the other tools are worth checking out too so head over to HubSpot. THANKS ANN!
Here is a quick demo Ann did:

HOT for LOCAL Ideas
Short on time so just throwing a couple out there.
1) Obviously quick how to videos for certain clients where this is a fit.
2) A video to show for your client to show THEIR customers the steps for how to leave a review on various platforms, especially Google+.
3) A tool for consultants to do a quick how-to for clients showing them how to do something in their GMB dash OR how to set up something else you need them to do on their end. (Tweak a Wordpress setting or whatever.)
4) A tool for consultants who blog to show a quick how to about the topic. So if you are talking about how to get Google support you could show some of the different support options and troubleshooters for various types of problems and how to get to them.
OK I got the list started and need to run.
Let's have a group brainstorming session about how you could use
WhatFix for YOUR business or your CLIENT's business.
