Hey guys,
Just wanted to share something sketchy I found while looking up garage door companies on Google Maps.
There’s this place, A Plus Garage Door Repair, claiming to be in Vegas (3272 Sunset Rd #150), but a lot of things don’t add up. When you check out their reviews, tons of the people who left them are clearly from Utah—they’ve reviewed a bunch of Utah businesses too. It almost looks like the company is moving their Utah reviews over to their Vegas listing to make themselves look better here.
I took some screenshots to show what I mean:

https://prnt.sc/5M2S5Zmsj4yu
One of the reviews even has a photo of a house that, surprise, is actually in Utah! And that same house photo is on their Utah website, which just confirms the whole thing.
Here’s more proof: https://prnt.sc/9oGr8nYJ_zBa
And the photo is still live: https://www.google.com/maps/contrib...data=!3m1!4b1!4m3!8m2!3m1!1e1?hl=en&entry=ttu
Feels pretty dishonest and unfair for the rest of us who count on honest reviews and real local businesses. Has anyone else run into this kind of thing, or know if Google ever actually takes these reports seriously?
Curious what you all think, and just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
