Interesting (possibly) Ranking Conundrum: Can We Rank a Purely Podcast Site?

Question for the gurus here when anyone has a moment:

We have a main domain with our blog site, which is doing relatively well and growing. However, we have a subdomain for our podcast site and the pages just aren't being indexed. I've tried a few things: adding summary content, Q & As (all human (me) written), and inter-linking between the various pages, but still no indexing for the podcast site. The podcast site has been up and running for about 5 months, while the main site has been running for 18 months or so.

Any ideas here?

Have you tried linking from the main site to the podcast site? If you tried that and it did not work, I would try getting some external links to the podcast subdomain.

Also make sure to check for any technical errors in GSC that may prevent the podcast domain from being indexed.
