Invisible Characters in Business Name

We are vetting a new Local SEO consultant, and we're being told by the consultant that 4 of our Google local listings that there is an invisible character in the business name that is impacting listing consistency. Has anyone ever heard of this? Could it be that's because the business name was cut/pasted there when originally updated, and maybe it carries that artifact with it?

I just don't want to get any listings suspended or need for re-verification by going in and manually re-typing/saving the main business name for 4 of these listings. Let me know your thoughts.

Have you asked them what this hidden character is?

Have you inspected the code to see if this character is visible? If not how do they know it's there?

Google strips and sanitizes everything so I would be very surprised if there is a hidden character anywhere.

I've seen bugs related to invisible characters in other parts of the profile (edits that could be neither rejected or accepted), but it's never cropped up in the business name!
