Is it ok to link back to site from Quora?

Hey guys, for backlinking purposes, if responding to any thread/post on Quora, is is ok to put your website's link in your post please?

It's ok to do IF the link provides value to the thread, but I don't think it will be a valuable backlink necessarily. I wouldn't build a backlink strategy around Quora threads by any means, but if the link provides true value it's not a problem.

Keep in mind these links are rel="noopener nofollow" as to prevent people from spamming the forum for backlinks.
