Hi,

Is there a way have FAQ schema markup automatically generated like by a plugin? My client has Yoast Premium and is wondering if it's possible for it to handle automatic FAQ schema generation.

I know they have Yoast FAQ structured data blocks, but my client's website doesn't use a block editor.

My understanding is that FAQ schema needs to be added manually via a custom field or in the code editor since it's page-by-page and the closest thing to automating it would be using a schema generator to generate the schema before adding it to the site - but please let me know if there is something that handles it automatically since that's what they're looking for.

It's not something you can automate. And it's not something I'd get stressed over either.

And I'd consider switching from Yoast to RankMath as it's a far better plugin.

Yoast has a FAQ block that you can use and that will add the schema for you.

RankMath has its own schema block too, with expanders, etc.

From what I remember, though, didn't Google depreciate the FAQ Schema except for government bodies? I thought there was something a few years ago that they killed it off. Maybe it's still used and just not focused anymore or something?
