Hi.

Recently, a client received a very negative review on his Google business profile. Can I do something about it? Is it possible to delete it?

What is the best option for doing this?

You can't just delete it but you can try disputing it here:

If you believe a review violates Google's rules, you can flag and report it. As a user, click the three dots next to the review and select "Report a Review." You can also do this directly from your Google Business Profile.

If the review isn't removed, try reporting it again after a few weeks. It sometimes takes several attempts.

There are several things you can do.

1. Flag the Review in the GBP Dashboard: Go to your GBP dashboard, find the negative review that violates Google's guidelines, click on the three dots menu, and select "Report Review" to flag it for removal

2. Appeal a Denial: If Google denies the removal request, appeal the decision by providing detailed reasons why the review should be removed. This generates a Google Support ticket, and you'll receive an email with a case ID number.
