Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to get some opinions/recommendations from fellow local marketers/SEOs. We're facilitating an office move and are having trouble getting the address change to stick on the GBP listing.

We have failed 2 video verifications so far. I think it might be because Google's Street View (for the new address) is not actually in the right location, its frame/perspective is on the east side of the building, while the actual entrance to the office is on the west side of the building (where there is no Street View).

My thought is that when Google is viewing the video, they're trying to match it up to what Street View shows - and there's a mismatch there. We tried a second video verification, this time starting with mimicking the exact Street View perspective and then driving around back and going through the standard shots:
  • showing branded vehicles
  • showing branded signage on the door
  • showing the door being unlocked
  • showing the workspace
  • showing the homepage up on the computer monitor
  • showing a state issued tax certificate framed on the wall
  • showing a county business license framed on the wall
Below is an image illustrating the Street View perspective along with the difference between that location and the actual front door, and I've also uploaded a video (video can't be uploaded to this post) that shows the sequence of the second video attempt (which failed).

Any advice, recommendations... help?

I wanted to follow up quickly for anybody who might be reading through this in the future and run into a similar situation.

I had also posted on the Google Product Experts Help Forum, where R. Ahmed shared this link: https://support.google.com/business/workflow/12825603, which allowed me to select the target Google Business Profile listing that was flagged as unverified, and then gave me the option to open a ticket with a case ID number.

Google Support responded pretty quickly, within about 48 hours, and the listing is now verified with the new address. All is well, and here's the forum thread (in case it helps anyone): https://support.google.com/business...t-verify-after-two-failed-video-verifications
