Hi everyone, have any of you used the Databloo looker studio templates? We purchased the Custom master template - Data Bloo and I'm working on the google my business section. I can't for the life of me get more than one location to populate under the location name filter. We have 41 locations and creating 41 separate reports is something I can do, but for users, this was supposed to be an all in one report. Screenshot of demo, also with only one location listed.

I tried that same template, and I couldn't get the GBPs connected. Support wasn't responsive. I gave up.

It's too bad, because the layout and design is excellent.

Thank you both for sharing your thoughts on our Custom Master Template. We appreciate your feedback, especially regarding the Google My Business (GMB) connector.

@JrussellDAS – The single-location limitation you’re experiencing is due to the specific Gladior Data Hub connector, which unfortunately does not support multi-location reporting. Since we use only FREE connectors to help our clients avoid additional subscription costs, we don’t have control over their specific functionalities. However, our template is compatible with other GMB connectors, such as Supermetrics, which does support multi-location GMB reporting. Moving forward, we recognize these limitations and are actively working on developing our own free connectors to provide a better experience and overcome issues like this. Happy to help with upgrading your template to any other GMB connector you wish!

@whitespark – Thanks for your kind words about our template’s design and layout! We understand the frustration with the GMB connection for multi-location businesses, but as mentioned, this is a limitation of the third-party connector rather than our template itself. Regarding support, we responded to your inquiry on September 16, one day after your message on September 14—I’d be happy to provide the communication for reference if needed. If you needed further assistance, we would have gladly helped. We always strive to be as responsive as possible, and we appreciate your feedback.

Thank you for the response. It should really be listed in the documentation and marketing materials that the connector will be extra for Google Business Profiles above 1 location, and any other technical details that will affect budgeting. Since a connector that supports multi-locations will run @1000k to 12k extra (based on actual quotes) it's something that I would have liked to know prior to purchase. And with your no refund policy, using this template for 41 locations, 12 separate domains in GA4 and 12 in Search Console is overwhelming to set up and manage, whereas one template for all with filtering capabilities is much easier to manage, and what we thought we were purchasing. I too reached out multiple times on different platforms and received no responses.

For everyone else, Gladior Hub sent me a message that they support multiple locations for a fee, but there is no documentation on the site (that I could find) related to any details. If I can get it approved, we will be using Portermetrics for the connector. I have a proof of concept running with the Databloo template to show my boss for approval. Although, she is not happy with the surprise of an extra expense.

Thanks for your feedback—we truly appreciate it.

Our primary focus is on building ready-to-use templates that save huge amount of time for our clients. These report can work with both free and paid connectors, allowing users to choose the option that best fits their needs. Our goal has always been to use free connectors to help clients avoid additional costs, but as you noted, certain limitations exist—such as the single-location restriction for GMB—simply because there aren’t free alternatives available at the moment.

That said, we completely understand your concerns, and to address this, we’re actively working on developing our own free connectors to remove these limitations in the future. Once they are ready, we’ll be sure to notify you.

In the meantime, if you need any assistance migrating your setup to a different connector, such as Portermetrics, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’d be happy to help.
