We're a licensed general and electrical contractor in Washington State, serving Skagit, Snohomish and Island counties.
Starting later this month, each marketing partner who sends us homeowners gets its own call tracking number, so we know which calls came from whom. Their ads and sites will show our business name and our contractor registration number (Washington requires the registration number in contractor advertising). Our GBP and existing citations stay on our main number.
What I want to avoid is partners accidentally creating a second set of citations with the wrong phone number. For anyone who has managed this:

What I want to avoid is partners accidentally creating a second set of citations with the wrong phone number. For anyone who has managed this:
- Does Google treat a partner's site or ad that shows our name next to a tracking number as a citation at all, or only directory-style listings with name, address and phone together?
- Should we tell partners never to put our address next to their tracking number, and never to submit us to directories?
- Anything else you'd put in a partner agreement to protect the profile?
