If a SAB business is moving locations I know this video from Joy a while back: says to create a new Google Business Profile for the new location, and then contact Google support once the new listing is verfied. Is that still the current recommendation?

My concern is the new address is an apartment and I assume Google is going to require a video verification be done. What if the video verification doesn't go through? I don't want to do anything to get the existing listing suspended given it is an older listing and has a fairly good amount of reviews. Should they do it the way is noted in the video by Joy or is there a way to change the address in the existing listing that is tied to the previous location which also doesn't show the address? My concern is if I go into the existing listing and change the address so Google picks up on the fact the business has moved that Google may suspend the listing on the basis the address is showing and it is a SAB. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it is :)

thank you for the response, just so I am clear they should go through the whole video verification (if that is required) at the new location? Is there not a concern that Google would see this as a duplicate listing and think you are trying to have two GBP listing for one business and suspend the existing one?

Correct. Just make sure the service areas don't overlap and you're fine.

thank you, unfortunately this company already went in and changed the service areas they cover a few months ago on the existing listing to the new location thinking that would work which of course it didn't. Given that situation should I go into their listing and change the service areas back to the previous place they where located before creating the new GBP profile? I'm just concerned since they already changed the service areas that if a new GBP listing is created the existing one may be suspended.
