Moz Local in combination with manual citations

I haven't seen any feedback on Moz Local for the past couple of months. I've submitted a few companies through them and it seems to do what it's supposed to do although it has taken a bit more time with some listings than I'd expect.

If we're going to use a citation building firm like Whitespark or Bright Local, is there a benefit to also using Moz Local (while letting the citation building firm know that we are to avoid duplicate work)?

I think it all depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Bright Local wrote an insighful blog article comparing the services of a few of the Citation related services out there - Local Citation Services Compared - MozLocal vs Yext vs UBL vs BrightLocal vs.Whitespark

If you look at that comparison, and compared it to Whitespark, then there would be no reason to use Moz Local. And compared to Bright Local (right now), Moz Local offers Factual (don't get me started on that) and Localeze.
