I've now seen two things from two different people touting the idea that owner actions have a direct impact on ranking. Not on engagement, ranking. Things like uploading photos, making posts and answering reviews. Now don,t get me wrong. These are things that should be done, but I sure don't expect that if I can't do them rankings will tank. I shall avoid citing names just in case I'm wrong and study WAS published, but damn...
Where the heck does this come from? Surely if this is suddenly the case someone must have published a case study? Because if such a study had happened it would be all over the sources I check all the time, and I sure as hell have NOT seen anyone write anything like that!
