Posts are not showing on profiles, only updates are...

Is this happening across other verticals? I am in automotive and made a series of posts for our monthly service specials and those posts do not show in the knowledge graph at all - but our update posts do.
I am wondering if this is a new wrinkle in GBP or if an anomaly.

As of a month ago, offer posts just plain aren't displaying on desktop. This is perfectly timed with the new Deals tab on Mobile, but Google has given no information whatsoever on the implications or connection.
