[Question] Why this specific Local branded term brings up the weather forecast?

I think i just came across a rare bug where Google is giving extra features to GMB listings that are under optimized. given the context, I can see someone might wanna know about the weather forecast before or after an aesthetic procedure, but why is this super unoptimized GMB benefiting from that? they are actually dominating the local grid... I can't seem to figure out why

It's an inherent feature of this particular knowledge panel style. It traces back to the origins of it. Initially you'd have it for places, where it's normal. Then it was expanded to tourism-type GBPs(examples: 1, 2, 3), where it's... defensible.

However, in recent months, google has been fiddling with what gets or not a tile-style panel (on chrome only? I'm not getting iton Firefox for your example), leading to examples like this. Their testing has not yet expanded (and honestly it's probably a stretch to think it will) to variants depending on the vertical.

today, I'm seeing the weather widget present or absent depending on the profile I'm looking at and I can't figure out what's the differentiator because some parks have it and others not.

I finally got that bih ahh sh! It took a bit and had to wait a week or 2 depending on the tests done but w.e who cares. I am certainly hoping it's life playing tricks on me but so far this week, the business I am managing has been pretty busy. I’ll share method used as soon as I see consistent results... Why? It’s SEO we all know how fast things can go from 0 to 100 with BS ranking factors
