Hi, we opened a GMB on the owner's home address a few years ago, created hundreds of NAPs to this address and now the map ranks nicely.
This company recently moved to a business center, mainly to manage employees and inventory, not much for accepting customers.
My concern is, if we move the GMB from his home address to the office location in a business center, I will need to update hundreds of citations and maybe never going to be able to update all of them.
But on the other hand, if Google prefer businesses in a business center location over residential locations, that move may be worth the trouble.

What do you think?

Thank you!

Don't worry so much about the NAP inconsistency situation that the move will create. You can fix those over time. It's not like the olden days where a NAP change would tank your rankings.

Whether or not moving has a positive or negative impact really comes down to one factor: are you moving closer or farther away from your customers.

For ranking it's not a concern. For Google potentially recreating the listing repeatedly (we've had this happen on several occasions), that's a whole different issue.
