Back in February, our Google Business Profile was ranking #1 across nearly all of our major keyword phrases, specifically “Realtor” and “Real estate agent”, throughout a full 3-mile Local Falcon grid. Every direction around our physical office was lit up green, with just a couple outliers at #2.
Then we got suspended due to a violation we weren’t aware of: multiple Google Ads accounts tied to the same credit card. Our GBP was reinstated in mid-March, and that’s when things changed. Rankings dropped hard.
Since then, we’ve worked our way back up. The maps attached are all post-reinstatement and show that we’ve reclaimed top rankings across most of the grid, except for the northwest quadrant, which is still performing very poorly compared to pre-suspension.

Some details:
- Physical address-based profile (not service-area based)
- No address changes were made
- Business name and hours were updated around the time of reinstatement and a couple more times since reinstatement
- We’ve been steadily collecting reviews, many of which naturally include relevant keywords
- Our profile is fully optimized—categories, services, posts, descriptions, citations, etc. and actively maintained
- We were #1 in that NW section before the suspension
- We’ve recovered in every other part of the grid
- No clear reason why only that part of the radius is suppressed
