Hello,

Our client has a GBP listing that was suspended for “Deceptive content.” We've helped them to fix the issues and submit an appeal, but the appeal was denied. Now, we cannot request any further appeals through the manage appeals tool (https://support.google.com/business/?p=manage_appeals), so we've used the "Request additional review of a denied appeal" tool twice, but Google keeps looping the emails back about a case that's already open. We have tried sending in tickets to general GBP Support, but each time, the response back was, “we can’t help reinstate this profile, you need to submit an appeal” and that email didn’t allow replies. So no matter which way we try to contact Google about this issue, there's always a no-reply email looping back to me.

All we’re trying to do is figure out what we have to do to get this suspension lifted and the GBP profile reinstated. Seems like no matter what we do, we get this endless loop of no-reply responses back. GBP Support says we need to appeal, but we can’t. The response from the request additional review of a denied appeal says we need to “reply to the original communication thread” even though those emails can’t be responded to.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Brian

@BrianSEOGuy24 - any updates here? I also think google has a twitter/x account that you can post on too that might get a response and someone to talk to: https://x.com/GoogleMyBiz

Thanks for the suggestion, but to my knowledge, that Twitter account is no longer a valid communication method for GBP issues, as they stopped monitoring it after COVID-19 hit.

Related question here: are you truly cut off from getting your GBP accepted if you go through the manage appeals tool (https://support.google.com/business/?p=manage_appeals)? This is the second shot and I am seeing some places say that after this (2nd attempt) - that is it and the GBP cannot be approved. Hoping this is not true.

Yes we tried that and the appeal was denied. We then tried to request additional review to which we got no response if I recall correctly. So truly a frustrating dead end.
