I have a new client who has both a Bistro and Lodging, named "Belfry Inn and Bistro"- Belfry Inn and Bistro · 6 Jarves St, Sandwich, MA 02563. He's had the GBP conjoined for years. All of his signage, logos, website and directories have them as one business. He wants to have the Google Free booking link and Google Hotel Ads showing in his KP, but he also wants to have the reserve a table link and menus. I don't see a way to make this happen. I thought maybe if I chose "Inn" as the main category, and then added the restaurant categories after that, it might work, but that just made the table reservation and menu disappear to be replaced with the "Contact the hotel for availability" label to show, and then within a few hours Google rejected the updated and changed it back to the restaurant categories with "Bed & Breakfast" as the thrid category. He has a limited continental, so doesn't feel super comfortable using B&B as a category.
He has the feeds in place to show his lodging availability, so that's not an issue. He just doesn't want to lose the restaurant reservation and menus, because that is a large part of his business.
Do we have any option other than a massive re-branding to separate the two business lines? Or will he have to settle for either/or?
