Rich Snippets - Review Stars in Local SERPs?

I recall hearing a few months ago that Google is not showing stars in the rich snippets in the SERPs... is this true?

I've searched online, but my queries aren't helping.

Hi Chris, we posted at the same time.

Just this sec I did a post showing red review stars in local.

But in general the review stars don't show much any more. That's 1st I've seen for awhile.

Someone in the past told me they could get them to show by rotating reviews. Assumption was if you had FRESH reviews they would show up. So this person wrote a script I think to rotate 5 or so reviews.

Might be worth checking Roto-Rooter's code to see if they are doing anything trick.
(I don't have time to look and try to analyze it.)
