I want to learn how to create Schema for my local HVAC business.
I have created the markup for Local HVAC but do not know where to put in my Wordpress site.

Please help !

Thanks,

Thanks so much Carl, all good resources.

Here are a couple more including 2 for Wordpress.

Also if you're using WP, many recommend using Yoast's SEO plugin (free).

Hi Bill and Happy New Year!

Here is the code that I have on my website which is in the footer area seeing how that is the ideal place to place your NAP Code seeing how the footer is present in all pages of your website.

You can just edit the code to reflect your business info and you may want to see if there is a category for "Plumber" on Schema.org but you are a local business so this code will suite your needs exactly.

Here you can take a look at my site to get an idea what you can do with the NAP info with some creativity and CSS Styling. http://www.pcmedicsoncall.com/

PHP:
<div itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/LocalBusiness">
   <span itemprop="name">PC Medics On Call</span>
   <div itemprop="address" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/PostalAddress">
     <span itemprop="streetAddress">449 Purdue Drive</span><br />
     <span itemprop="addressLocality">Wilmington,</span>
     <span itemprop="addressRegion">NC</span>
     <span itemprop="postalCode">28403</span>
   </div>
   Phone: <span itemprop="telephone">910-200-0150</span>
   </div>

Bill,

The code that I placed in response to your inquiry above is HTML Code not PHP!

The forum would not allow me to add the code to the site using the other declaration tags because it would keep formatting it as it would look on a website so I was forced to use the PHP Code tags in order for it to display the code without formatting it.
