Servicing multi-province and cities, how far between before creating another SAB profile?

how far does your service area business profile need to be from your other service area business profile? I have a window company that is in multiple provinces and cities in Canada, is one hour from each other too close? Should they be 2 1/2 hours or more away from each other? Or just as long as the service area tags don’t overlap each other? How close? Thanks!​

The distance doesn’t matter. Just don’t have overlapping service areas.

You are correct, service areas don’t impact rankings. While Google hasn’t publicly stated that you can’t have overlapping service areas, it is a violation.

The policy is not to have overlapping service areas. So if you have two SABs in Chicago, set them up using zip codes.
