Should We Create Service Area Page for Main Location?

Hi,

I just wanted to get some expert views on the creation of a service area page on a website for the main location of a business (the city where the business is physically located).

We usually create service area pages for each location the business serves. Do we also need to create a service area page for the main location of the business? If yes, how do we make sure that the service area page is not competing with the homepage of the website?

If any other information is required, I will be happy to provide it.

I generally don't if it's competing for the same terms as the homepage.
