Sudden drop in GBP Driving Directions on a single day

Check out this client's data for October 2024. Driving directions just crashed on 10/9/2024 and has never recovered. Not seeing anything like this on the same day for any other clients. Googling and searching the forum I haven't found anything either. Anyone ever see a 1 day drop like this? Prior to October, they were consistently getting 30-50 directions requests/day. Search views and other GBP metrics are all consistently up y2y or stable. Even Maps impressions from desktop and mobile are stable throughout all of October. Can't make heads or tails of it.

I just checked a handful of Google Business Profiles I manage and none of them are seeing a pattern like this, so I think it may be something specific to this Profile.

One thought: did you have the driving directions/map embedded on the site and then it was removed?
