Hey All

I would be interested to know if any digital marketing agencies or freelancers use AI in their business?

thanks

Use it for ideas and suggestions but never ever rely on Generative AI for creating content, answering reviews and other functions. Always get a human to check it over.

I use AI for code snippets but they almost always need editing and very rarely have sufficient validation or sanitization.

The number of times I use AI is insane! :)

Here's a few ways I use it for business:
  • writing and fixing emails so they have a much friendlier tone.
  • code review (fixing something missed in code)
  • analytics interpretation
  • log error interpretation (that it can be explained to a client)
  • keyword generation ideas
  • blog outline for writers (target topic, potential headings to discuss)
  • Title & description modifications on pages and posts
  • Blog excerpts
  • Twitter & facebook posts
  • building FAQ pages
On a more personal level I use it for everything from converting ounces to grams and calories, product overviews to determine which mouse might be better for me, how to fix "XYZ" on my phone or computer, how to fix blinds in our RV, which movie came first, what's the big deal about XYZ, potential reasons for a particular pain in my thumb.. etc

AI has been a huge step forward for me. No longer do I have to scour forums and pages for answers, and this is especially true when you're doing coding and going through StackOverflow only to find the same question left unanswered :)

As with all things AI, you still need to take everything and use your own judgement, and when it comes to code you have to understand what it's doing and why, not just rely on it - but so far, I use it daily, on way too many things :)
