The home, including street address, is showing up for a SAB - how do we remove the address?

I set up a new Google Business Profile for a Service Area Business. My client is concerned because although we "hid" the address on the GBP, the street view on Google Maps is actually showing the street name and street address. The GBP indicates that "No location; deliveries and home services only." So, why is the home address being displayed? How do we get that removed? We set the service area to California, although we could narrow it if that might help.

I reported that I saw two similar cases like this. Contact support and see if they can resolve the issue. If they cannot, then go to the help forum.

As far as I'm aware, this bug appears to be caused by hiding the address while a service area edit is still pending, or vice versa. Asking support may help if you're lucky enough to not instantly hit a "no response available" email (I haven't figured out the magical words yet myself).

Alternatively, I've found that re-adding the original address doesn't necessarily trigger a revalidation (I suspect that is because the address is not fully hidden in the backend to begin with) as long as it's the exact same address. If you do that and make sure there are no pending edits to the address or service area when you re-hide the address, then that edit should go through.
