First of all, does this forum cover Tripadvisor listings? Sorry if it doesn't, but I did a search and found some postings about Tripadvisor, and honestly I don't know where else to ask. Please send me somewhere else if this is off-topic.
Anyway, I have an acquaintance that bought a rural hostel a year ago. She doesn't have a Tripadvisor profile, but there are two unofficial listings created about her business, both showing dismal reviews (from the previous owner's tenure). She asked me how should she should operate in this case.
Now, normally it would be simply a matter of creating a Tripadvisor account and claiming the existing listing, but in this case there are two added problems:
-There are two listings.
-The bad reviews, which she would like to delete, since after all the are from the previous owner's era.
I was wondering if anyone has experience about what to do in a case like this.
