Use of "Near me" in 2025

What is the impact of use of "Near me" in urls and title tags in recently. I understood that it webistes were being penalized for "near me" insertion and now i see this used heavily in recent searches. Yelp, BBB and other major websites are doing it.

Has anyone tried to use this recently and benefits in the search ranking?
