Hello! I’m working on verifying a doctor’s GBP after updating the address. The new location is a clinic they own, but only the clinic name is shown on the signage, so the video verification was rejected.

I couldn’t find clear guidelines on what exactly needs to be shown in this case. Has anyone dealt with this before or knows what would work for verification?

Is there an address or part of the address on the wall of the clinic? that should help

It doesn't have the address on the wall - but we could show the street signs. Although the issue is that the clinic signage doesn't have the doctor's name, and per Google's request, the name of the GBP should match the signage.

Why did you need to update the address? Have they moved or was the address incorrect?

Either way, you will need to verify the new address. Details here:

https://support.google.com/business/answer/13597551

It lists all the evidence they will expect to see.

They moved. Google requested a video verification instead of uploading document-based evidence. The account is still pending for the video verification, so I think at the moment I shouldn't appeal. Would showing the utility bills or other documents that state the name of the doctor on the video work?

Unless the video clearly shows the name of the practice and the location you are unlikely to get verified. Google will almost certainly require documents so you could try showing them on the video. But the name on the documents will need to be the same as the business. Everything needs to align.
