Very Strange GMB Activity

This weekend we encountered some very strange activity on our GMB account ( We are a large franchisor with 378 listing locations on our GMB account). First 29 listing duplicates have been created - but not by us and they were not there on Friday. Secondly on a large number of our locations GMB has corrupted the address taking the town or city form other locations and adding them to the listed address. Help has anyone else encountered this issue. The only thing we have done outside of our usual GMB management is to add the 'short name' for each individual location.

Did you do
That recently? would recommend removing the short name. Then recheck. I believe there are still known issues with short names.
