Website on GMB listing redirects to another website?

Hello all,

A client listing's website field has a website (brand name+location.com) that 301-redirects to another site that is actually full of content (brand name.com/location). Do you think I should change it to brand name.com/location? I believe I should do it but decided to ask here first.

Yes usually. Google does not like redirects and I've seen her penalize for it.
Plus if the 2nd domain is ranking in organic, would def help to link directly to it.
