What categories are OK for this?

Category listed right now is: Party Equipment Rental Service

I see competitors using Party Planner, Entertainer, Party Supplies.

Is it OK to use more than 1 category?

Thoughts on this/what categories are appropriate?

It's fine to list your business under more than one category. Often, Google will decide which one to display on your listing. Set one primary category that you think best matches your business (out of the 10 you are allowed).

What you can also do is.. click through on the category from your page and see if those competitors are your direct competitors. If they are, this is one category you should keep: https://plus.google.com/local/Memphis, TN/s/Party Equipment Rental Service?gl=us&hl=en
