Why does Google remove the service description in GBP?

I have written each service description in my client's GBP, but I checked today... Services are listed, but their description is removed. Can anybody answer, please?

Do you mean when you look at the profile as a visitor, or when you go in to edit the description?

Google only displays service descriptions to users on mobile or in the desktop LSA display (at least in Quebec, see image, I don't know is non-LSA profiles can be in that display outside Quebec). Otherwise, you're not going to see those description and that is normal.

If you're going back to edit descriptions and find them missing, that is an entirely different issue, but since we don't usually do description at my agency (we find them not impactful enough for conversion in our particular context, and they are completely irrelevant for ranking), I really can't speak to that.
