Why some categories show review snippet and some don't?

We've been experimenting a bit with categories and have noticed that some categories end up removing the reviews snippet from your brand panel, map panel and other GMB type placements. Is this known behavior, what is the reason and is there a list of categories where this happens? For example, if we have a music store as our category, the review snippet shows. If we add music instructor as an additional category, the review snippet disappears.
