Local Ranking Volatility Tracking Tool Recommendations?

Gotcha. We utilize Brightlocal and I honestly didn't think about them! We more so use it for local grids to fill in the gaps from Agency Analytics. Agency Analytics is pretty good for organic rankings but (to the best of my knowledge) they only crawl once per week, without a way to change it.

Local Ranking Volatility Tracking Tool Recommendations?

Ah, yeah I was actually wanting to see/track organic results not maps. I kept getting targeted with ads for Search Atlas and signed up for a 7 day free trial which will allow me to track SERP results pretty frequently within that trial period. Not sure about the rest of their tool but hoping...

Local Ranking Volatility Tracking Tool Recommendations?

I haven't tried Local Falcon yet. I assume they offer automated crawls and you can set the frequency? I'll check them out and see on the price. It's not a HUGE deal, but I've never seen volatility like this for any dental office we work with. Especially $$ KW + Geo. Would love to see what the...

Local Ranking Volatility Tracking Tool Recommendations?

Anyone have any good recommendations on tracking tools that will track volatility of a local keyword (Organic, NOT Maps/GBP)? Our KW tracking software only pulls results once per week and I'd be curious to see daily results (or even more frequent). We've got a dental client in Philadelphia who...

Trying to take video for verification, but each time I try to start the video it takes me back to the initial verification page

Hey Colan, Would love to know what the end of the workflow looks like, or where that workflow starts. Here is what I see, and it is pretty much a dead end/loop on repeat for a client of ours who cannot get verified no matter what we do. It's been in limbo for about 2 months now trying to verify...

Indexing - Cannot get search console to index for months... (nor GBP verified)

Thanks again for taking a look! A few quick notes on your items: Pagespeed - We run Wordpress + Elementor which aren't the fastest, however some FlyingPress magic tends to do the trick. We typically install after indexing as I don't want any resources blocked for the initial crawls (maybe...

Indexing - Cannot get search console to index for months... (nor GBP verified)

Precursor - Have been trying to get a client site indexed for over 2 months. Also, client cannot get GBP video verified (has submitted multiple video attempts). Having an issue I've never seen in probably 200+ sites submitted to search console / Google indexing. Submitted a site to Google...

Anyone have a quality replacement for Google's "Cache" view in Chrome?

I've used Screaming Frog quite a bit in the past, especially for site redesigns where we need a list of old URL's etc. Was unfamiliar with those features you mentioned but I'll check them out! Probably need to update the software as I've been running an outdated version for some time... Thank...

Anyone have a quality replacement for Google's "Cache" view in Chrome?

Hi Jeff - Thanks for the reply! I've been using The Wayback Machine for many years and its a great little tool. I specifically use it in the case of redesigns, where we might not have had the whole sitemap or were missing important pages that were nested in the main menu, etc. etc. It doesn't...

December 2024 Spam Algorithm Update Trends

I've had this hunch for quite some time. We've been using a free tool from Writer.com for AI detection. If it doesn't show as at least 96% or above human written, that page generally ranks at least 4-5 spots lower than the competitors. More recently we starting using AI as a writing assistant...

August 2024 Core Update - Anyone Else Shaking Their Head?

So yes, some clients lost ranks to thin and fluffy websites. Other clients (from the best we can decipher so far) lost rank due to their own "fluffy" content, but not really 'thin' content IMO. As I mentioned, we've adjusted some content to be very human-centric. I agree on Google search...

Anyone have a quality replacement for Google's "Cache" view in Chrome?

As a business and agency owner who's very hands on in the SEO side of our efforts, I used the cache:https://mysite.com feature in chrome daily. Now that it's finally sunset, I'm lost. I know that Search Console gives you some features, test live URL, etc. but it doesn't really tell the whole...

August 2024 Core Update - Anyone Else Shaking Their Head?

Very interesting and this kind of relates to some updates on our end. We rode it out with all clients who weren't breathing down our necks. Many of our clients saw no significant change. The ones that dipped, rebounded slightly, but haven't retaken the #1 spots. Most went from top 3 to dropping...

August 2024 Core Update - Anyone Else Shaking Their Head?

I've noticed some clients that weren't actively pursuing reviews and had a low quantity of them (nothing fresh) also saw some significant drops in local rankings. Are you thinking that the Core update significantly impacted Maps in any way?
