ABA Therapy practice adds a clinic. Citation Question

I have a current client who has an ABA therapy practice. They were doing In-home therapy until now, and have now opened a new clinic location in the same area, but closer to the centroid. I need to determine whether we should create a new citation build for the clinic or update the existing citations we built for the new location.
Your advice and input are appreciated.

My initial thought is to create a new citation build for the clinic as an additional business address, excluding the GBP. Once the citations have been set up and the website is updated with the new clinic location, change the GBP to the new address.

Is this the way to go?
