We have multiple local pages and we need to add some new locations this year. It's quite challenging to write the same thing over and over again but still different enough that it's not duplicate. So, I'm wondering if anyone has come across any AI tools that could take an existing page and tweak the copy so it's the same...but different enough that it's not viewed as duplicate. And do that about 30 versions lol.

I'd love to hear all your ideas. Thank you.

I think ChatGPT would be perfect for this! You will have to review the content it spits out before publishing on your site of course.

Solution
@angela1044 - I've been playing with ChatGPT to rewrite content. Here are some tricks I found that have been useful for me:
  • Don't just ask ChatGPT to rewrite something. Give it a role first. Start with something like "You are a local SEO and content writing expert." That role changes the nature of the output.
  • Rewrite the text in small blocks, not the whole page at once.
  • If you don't like the output from ChatGPT, just type "again" and it will give you another version. I find that if I ask ChatGPT to try again a few times, I eventually get a paragraph that I like. (If not, I'll combine the best parts from each output manually.)
  • If you don't like the output, feed it back into ChatGPT. The rewrite of the rewrite is often better. (Although sometimes it's eerily similar to the initial input, so be careful!)
I'm no expert but I am finding that small changes to the prompt give me better results. Good luck!

Thanks Stefan! Great tips.
