So I'm starting this thread because I have not been able to find a straight answer for this. The "Book Now" button on a Google Business listings has always been associated with have an approved 3rd party provider. I have several clients that allow you to add your own link and do not provide any other provider to connect to. Sometimes this link is only shown as an appointments link and not the "Book Now" button which is not as pronounced especially on mobile than the "Book Now" button. On some instances my client listings have that button despite not having a 3rd party provider. Also, some competitors have a link directly to their website from the "Book now" button and do not go through a 3rd party provider. My question is has anyone linked directly to their own website for the link now button? If you did what 3rd party service did you use or did you set up your own through Reserve with Google?

@warrenpd - I went down this rabbit hole about 6 months ago. I was working with a self-storage company and a few of their competitors had the "Book Now" button pointing to their own websites instead of a 3rd party platform. I contacted support about it a few times. They said that if you just wait for their systems to crawl your website, the option should eventually appear on your GBP. I'm pretty sure that's not true.

I escalated a case in the community forum, but got no concrete feedback.

I think it comes from using a 3rd party service and then updating the URL to your own website before cancelling the service. (That's just a theory. I haven't been able to test it.)

So it never showed up for you?
