Can't Edit Phone Number in Google Business Profile

GBP won't allow us to add the number as it prompts "can't edit phone number".

Do you have an idea about how we can get this fixed ASAP?

After you verify PHONE NUMBER FEATURE status per Joy's recommendation.

IF you are still unable to EDIT...
let me suggest simply CLEARING BROWSER CACHE...
close browser > reopen > test.
