In the late March services in GBP were a cheat code as they directly pushed you into searches as a keyword in the name would. But now they are no factor, situation in Cyrilic is so bad that I am filling as scammer if I offer this service to a business.
Also the semantic meaning doesnt work too. Right now, from what I am seeing, Google is promoting the paying accounts as organic options, and is heavily relying on images and youtube for expertise mapping.
Basically the working formula is
- start your GBP,
- start paid ads,
- add some pictures several times a week,
- and a video or two per week on youtube and you will be number one in your area.
