Closed Locations

Hi, as we close retail locations I move them into a GMB Account labeled "Closed Stores" Can anyone advise why only one of 24 show "Closed" in the status column, although all locations are marked as "Permanently Closed" in the business column?

Hi Carolyn,

I consulted with @krystaltaing and it's likely just a UX issue. GMB makes display and verbiage changes like this all the time.

If all looks well live, I wouldn't spend any time worrying about it.

Hi, Carolyn...

I think it's just a fluke. Even though the businesses are "permanently closed," they are still technically "published" because the listings will still show up in search results for a while (eventually they will drop in rankings...over time.) I think it is just a quirk that not all of them are showing up as "closed." I wouldn't worry too much about it.
