Hi everyone,

I’m managing a Google Business Profile for a garage door company with two locations. The profile for the location without signage was suspended. Here’s what we’ve done so far:
  1. First Appeal: Submitted address details, state certificate, utility bills, BBB citations—denied.
  2. Service Area Change: Switched to a service area business, which triggered verification. Profile was immediately suspended again.
  3. Second Appeal: Resubmitted with updated bills—denied.
  4. Community Forum Help: Added photos of tools and equipment as suggested—still denied.
Now, the service area is minimal (only two locations), hours are set to "open" with no main hours, and all data matches across platforms. However, the profile remains suspended.

Additionally, buttons for other GBPs under my account are missing, even though none of the listings are suspended. Could this indicate that my Google account is restricted?

Has anyone faced a similar situation with GBP suspension due to missing signage? How did you resolve it? Also, any thoughts on the missing buttons?

Thanks for your help!

Is this a residential address or an office location? This question needs to be answered to properly help you. You are not allowed to have two SABs with overlapping service areas. You need to set normal business hours, like 8 to 5.

Thanks for the reply!

One location is an office that one has a pin. The other was a residential but had a pin and was suspended so it was switched to a SAB instead however, appeals still not being approved. I did trim the service area to only 2 cities which should not overlap at least in my eyes I'm not sure if Google agrees. They are in different counties and cities.

As for business hours I did have it set to 7am - 7pm however, I did adjust this to be just open with no main hours assuming the 7am - 7pm was the issue. They do work 7am - 7pm so that is their legit hours however they will take emergency calls anytime.

The hours are not the issue, so show them. It could be the description or not enough documentation.

Gotcha! I'll put them back. I can adjust the description it does mention 24 / 7 service. Would geo terms matter in the description?

As for documents, I submitted the state certificate, utility bills, BBB citation, order invoices for parts, and included photos of the garage and vehicles.

However, the legal name has , LLC at the end of it but the branding on every platform does not. I read that, that shouldn't matter though. But I did originally add , LLC at the end of the name but was still denied. I am a bit confused on this since the 2nd location with the pin does not use the , LLC and I did read that the names should match on both locations.
