Delay between review submission and publishing

We've had a couple of clients who told us they posted reviews to our GMB listing but we're not seeing them. Is there a delay between when a client completes the review form and they appear on GMB? If so, what is typical?

Or is there something else that could prevent reviews from being displayed?
