Does Google My Business prioritize reviews from Local Guides over other users?

When I sort chronologically to put newest reviews first, this review from 5 years ago goes to the top. Is that because it's from a Local Guide?

@ashley.smith, not that I've seen. Local Guides' reviews always show up chronologically when you sort by "Newest." Except in this case, I guess. Any chance you can provide a link?

I thought I posted here yesterday, but apparently I must have forgotten to press the Post Reply button lol.

Yesterday the old review came up first for me, just like you. But today it is working correctly. I just wanted to reaffirm that it is probably a glitch like you said.
