Does low domain rating(DR) have a negative impact on local SEO?

Many of the websites we are working on right now have a very low domain rating. Does low domain rating of a website have a negative impact on local SEO?

Domain Rating (DR) is a proprietary metric from Ahrefs. Google doesn't use it.

That said, DR mainly focuses on backlinks. Quality backlinks do impact ranking in both Google organic and Google Maps.
