Duplicate Google Listing Issue After August Bulk Verification Update

I am dealing with an issue with one my Google Business Profile's. Around the time of the Bulk Verification update from Google in August, the original Google Business Profile tanked in Share of Local Voice for its local area.

When investigating, I found there was a duplicate listing with a different Google Place ID that was being displayed instead. This listing did not have any reviews from the original listing and therefore it's performance was terrible. I can still extract the data via API & Local Falcon and everything on each listing with the exception of the Google Place IDs and review count are the same.

We've submitted a couple of tickets to Google support to no avail. Is there anything else we can do?

Have you tried suggesting an edit on maps to get the duplicate listing removed? If it is unclaimed, it should get removed that way.

When you say you've "submitted a couple of tickets to Google support to no avail" what do you mean exactly? Has support not responded to you, or are they unable to merge the two listings?
