Hey LSF member, I have a question about a situation where I have a client whose GMB profile is established and has more than 250+ reviews. They rank pretty well but the business address is a residential address. I know it is against Google's guidelines but the GMB profile is old.

What should be done in this case? I don't want to hide the address as the profile is ranking pretty well in that area.

Thanks!

Don't touch the address unless it gets suspended.

Thank you! @all

Yes, it is a service area business. @Jannell Howell

I had this in mind already but just wanted to make sure if there's something we can do. @keyserholiday

Leave it as is. Hiding the address could trigger a need for verification via video or a suspension. If the GBP gets suspended, you will lose rankings for two weeks after it gets reinstated. The reinstatement process is extremely difficult to navigate, thanks to all the spammers.
