g.page/ Shortened URL Question

Hey folks. Curious on the GMB shortened URLs. I have mine and it works just fine in content. If I try to use it in a link on FB or Twitter profiles, it doesn't allow/recognize it. Any thoughts to whether it's a bug or if it's just a "what it is" type of thing?

It may be the www. part of the g.page, I told engineering about this bug a while back and thought they fixed it.

What is the link to the tweet?

Thanks for the info Ben! It's for a client so probably shouldn't show the specific link. Did try both the www. and non version to it. Suppose I should just wait and see.
