Hey y'all!

Awhile back, my client's GBP was suspended. Once it was reinstated, all of our reviews were gone.

I emailed Google Support, and this was the response: https://webpagefx.mangoapps.com/msc/MjQ2MTA3MV8xNTQ5MDI2Ng

I then did some more research and found that the URL that users could navigate to, to leave a review, was originally https://g.page/r/CQdmjUBTiOjFEAE/review, and when the profile was reinstated, it changed to https://g.page/r/CUfh4S6p_k3BEAI/review. I emailed Google Support again with the hope that they could retrieve reviews that are tied to the old URL, and I have not heard back.

The client does use a third-party review-building platform. The platform seems legit, so I'm wondering if Google may be cracking down on reputation management platforms?

Has anyone ever experienced this? If you have, were you able to get any reviews back/what did you do?
 
A temporary disappearance of reviews (3-5 days) is not unheard of when a profile is reinstated or merged, but this seems to be something else. I'm not entirely sure how the profile could have changed in that fashion without any indication, but my instinct would also be to assume the problem lies here.

Did you have CIDs or BPIDs for the profile before and after that you could share with support?

You may have to try and raise a ruckus on the Google help forum because at this point, it's generally better to assume no help will come out of Support at all regardless of the query.
