Hello everyone.

I’m sure there are lots of seo pro’s in here, so I want to be respectful.

There is a local seo guy in my area who is spamming Google with cloud stacks, keyword stuffed name that is not registered with the government, fake reviews, and saying he’s open 24 hours from his public home address.

I’m all for company competition, yet he’s telling his clients he can do the same thing for them.

I’ve tried the suggest an edit, redressal and misconduct forms, yet nothing works to at least get him to change his hours or name.

Now there are cloud stacks of just keyword spun content pointing to his site.

And so I’m just curious what other options are there to have Google look at his business to make sure it’s compliant?

The cloud stacks aren't something Google is going to act on. It's unlikely they'll get a manual penalty and Google tends to deal with these algorithmically.

If the name is listed on their website that is probably enough to make Google fine with the name. They are not overly consistent with policing keyword stuffing.

If it has been over 30 days and you have the case ID, please post about it in the help forum. Google may suspend them for the three TOS violations—name, showing the address, and the hours. The redressal form team has been worthless this year. They haven't been taking down businesses using P.O. Box addresses. I track all of my redressals. I have submitted 111 redressals this year. Eighty-three are over 30 days old, and only 26 have been removed. That's 31.32%. I feel like Angel Reese when I should be Caitlin Clark.

Thank you for the reply.

Yea the guy is using cloud stacks to push his local gbp and then promoting how he can help everyone else manipulate Google.

It just sucks to have someone manipulating Google maps, buying reviews and saying they are open 24 hours a day when they are not.

Thank you again
